In your church and community, men and women are silently struggling with the pain of separation or divorce. They may feel overwhelmed, broken, and unsure where to turn.
Your church can become a place of hope and healing—by offering DivorceCare. “Thousands of single parents and their children are sitting outside our church doors every Sunday who do not feel like God’s love, acceptance, forgiveness, and grace is for them,” shares Robyn Besemann, church leader and author.
DivorceCare is a 13-week, Christ-centered ministry that helps people navigate the pain of separation or divorce through supportive groups and other resources. The program is hosted by local churches and led by lay volunteers—people just like you. Through videos featuring counselors, pastors, and personal testimonials, as well as group discussions and biblical resources, participants discover tools for healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose.
You don’t need to be a counselor or pastor to facilitate. DivorceCare was designed for lay leaders with a heart to serve.
